Dilution
Change a number and the figure, steps, and results update together. 1:10 means 1 part stock plus 9 parts solvent. Molarity uses M = c / MW, with c as a mass concentration.
1:10 dilution, 10 mM → 1 mMThe figure and steps follow the numbers.

3Protocol
- 1Pipette 1 mL of the 10 mM stock. V₁ = C₂ × V₂ / C₁ = 1 mM × 10 mL / 10 mM = 1 mL
- 2Add 9 mL of solvent (water or buffer). Vs = V₂ − V₁ = 10 mL − 1 mL = 9 mL
- 3Mix gently by pipetting or vortexing.
- 4You have 10 mL at 1 mM. 1:10 means 1 part stock plus 9 parts solvent.
